Provost Search Update - November 1, 2018

The Baylor University Provost Search Committee has been working with our AGB Search consulting team over the last few weeks making final preparations for the public launch of the search. The provost profile used to advertise the search and attract candidates has been finalized and is now available on our web site and the AGB Search web site. Announcements of the Baylor provost search are being widely circulated to higher education leaders throughout the United States with special emphasis on universities with higher research activity, larger enrollments, and those in Christian higher education. We will begin reviewing nominations, inquiries and applications immediately, with those received by January 2, 2019, receiving full consideration. Our goal remains to have a new Provost identified and named by the end of the spring semester. The members of the committee appreciate the thoughts, prayers, and support of the entire Baylor community as the search proceeds.
