Provost Search (2018-19)
Baylor University embarked on a national effort to select the University’s permanent provost. Baylor’s provost will lead efforts to further strengthen the University’s national reputation for excellence in higher education while building upon its rich tradition of Christian commitment. Throughout the search, which launched on January 16, 2018, this website served as a communication channel with information about the work of the search committee as well as how to submit nominations and share feedback with the search committee. On February 27, 2019, President Linda L. Livingstone, Ph.D., announced Nancy Brickhouse, Ph.D., as Baylor's next Provost. Following the announcement, this website was retained as a record of the search process and related communications.

More NewsWACO, Texas (Feb. 27, 2019) – Baylor University has named Nancy W. Brickhouse, Ph.D., as provost following a national search to help lead the institution toward its goal of becoming the next preeminent Christian research university. Dr. Brickhouse will assume her new role May 1.
The Baylor University Provost Search Committee has been working with our AGB Search consulting team over the last few weeks making final preparations for the public launch of the search.
